Job summary

Success Human Resource Centre Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive IT infrastructure specialist to support Data Center operations in Singapore. The role involves incident verification, onsite resolution, and coordination with engineers to implement changes.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in CS/CE or equivalent with 3–5 years of IT infra experience and relevant certifications. Weekend/PH shifts may be required, based in Ang Mo Kio.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant IT infrastructure operation experience.
• Preferably Microsoft Certification and/or ITIL certification.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix, Active Directory/DNS, and Microsoft Azure Stack is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for Data Center operations.
• Verify, isolate, and provision temporary workarounds for incidents.
• Resolve incidents onsite; escalate unresolved issues to engineers.
• Report escalations to Project Manager and generate necessary records.
• Introduce and integrate new technologies into existing environments.
• Apply OS updates, patches, and configuration changes.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and access controls.
• Answer technical queries and maintain system configuration.
• Process Service Requests and Change Requests.
• Coordinate with OEM/vendor for technical support.
• Be available to work shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Monthly Salary: Up to $4,500 + Offsite stand-by Allowances $200

Job Responsibilities:

• To provide support for Data Center.
• Assisting the Customer in the verification, isolation and/or provision of a temporary work around for the incident/problem logged.
• Resolving the incident/problem onsite.
• Escalating unsolvable problems and service requests to the System and/or Software Engineer and reporting the escalation to the Project Manager.
• Generating the relevant administrative records and reports.
• Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing environments.
• Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
• Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
• Answering technical queries
• Maintaining the configuration of the system.
• To implement Service Request and Change Request
• Contacting OEM/Vendor for technical support
• Able to work shift including weekends and public holidays.

Job Requirements:

• Minimmum Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5years of relevant working experience in IT infrastructure operation
• Preferably with Microsoft Certification and/or ITIL certification
• Good Knowledge of following products will be advantageous: Linux, Unix, Active Directory/ DNS, Microsoft Azure Stack, Microsoft Windows 2016-2022, Commvault Backup and Recovery, Symantec Endpoint Protection
