Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Singapore is seeking a System Design Engineer within our Research & Development team. You will merge creativity with technical expertise to shape future technology, drive groundbreaking projects and bring new ideas to life.

You will collaborate with design teams on pre-/post-silicon verification and validation, participate in FPGA prototyping and verification, and develop verification software while producing test reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant study.
• Proficiency in C or Python.
• Strong experience with Linux scripting, test automation, driver development, and API development.
• In-depth knowledge of Ethernet switching, network programming, and TCP/IP; CCNA/CCIE is a plus.
• Understanding of automotive software processes (ASPICE, ISO 26262 functional safety) and automotive Ethernet protocols (MKA/MACsec, 802.1CB, 802.3DM, 802.1DG) is a plus.
• Nice to have: Verilog, Xilinx Vivado, FPGA experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design teams to conduct pre-/post-silicon verification and validation.
• Participate in FPGA prototyping and verification.
• Develop verification software for modules/features and generate test reports.
• Provide technical support to customers and work with cross-functional teams.
