Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience; 5–8 years for senior positions.

• Degree in CS/IS/EE/Electrical/Networking or related discipline.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated System and Network Lead to support the delivery of large-scale sensor and ICT infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for project implementation, systems integration, stakeholder management, testing and commissioning activities to ensure successful deployment of mission-critical systems.

This role involves working closely with various stakeholders, vendors, government agencies, and internal technical teams to deliver integrated sensor and infrastructure solutions that meet operational, security, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Management

• Ensure timely delivery of projects within approved schedules and budgets.
• Track project progress, milestones, risks, and expenditures.
• Escalate issues and risks promptly while recommending mitigation strategies.
• Manage vendors, contracts, service level agreements (SLA), and project documentation.
• Provide regular project updates to management and stakeholders.

Systems Integration & Deployment

• Plan, coordinate, and execute system integration activities for hardware and software components.
• Support testing, commissioning, and acceptance activities to ensure systems meet operational and contractual requirements.
• Work with multiple stakeholders to verify and optimize on-site deployment strategies.
• Ensure successful integration between sensors, network infrastructure, backend systems, and applications.

Infrastructure & Networking

• Support deployment of ICT infrastructure including network installation, wireless transmission, electrical infrastructure, and supporting facilities.
• Work with infrastructure, networking, and technical teams to ensure system availability and performance.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis during implementation and operational phases.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure systems comply with prevailing security policies, standards, and government guidelines.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives related to sensor and infrastructure deployments.
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of operational and sensor data.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with government agencies, vendors, contractors, and internal engineering teams.
• Present technical solutions and project updates to stakeholders and management.
• Facilitate discussions and coordinate efforts across multiple parties to achieve project objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Networking, or related engineering discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience for Engineer/Lead Engineer level.
• Candidates with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience may be considered for senior positions.
• Experience in enterprise or large-scale operational environments is preferred.
