Job summary

jobline resources pte. ltd. is seeking a Network Administrator to support analysis, design, and maintenance of our network infrastructure in Singapore. You will lead migrations and testing, manage stakeholders and vendors, and ensure 24/7 standby readiness.

The role requires CCNA/CCNP guidance, ITIL certification, and hands-on experience with Cisco switches, NAC, WLC, and F5 products. This position is on-site in Singapore and involves collaboration across IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer Engineering or equivalent with 3 years experience in Network Administration, IT network infrastructure, monitor network performance and incident management.
• CCNA certification at minimum; CCNP preferred.
• ITIL v3 / 4 certified.
• Strong Stakeholder and Vendor management.
• Experience supporting tech refresh or new facilities implementation is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of wired and wireless network technologies.
• Experience with Cisco switches, NAC, WLC and F5 products.
• Able to support 24/7 standby.

Responsibilities

• Support technical system analysis to ensure solutions meet demand and future needs.
• Assist in design and implementation of compliant infrastructure solutions.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Support technical system analysis to determine the extent to which solutions perform “as required” to ensure that future solutions meet anticipated demand
• Support the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions that adhere to current architecture standards
• Lead the design installations, system migration and integration
• Lead the testing and handover of implemented infrastructure solution
• Support delivery of optimal infrastructure operations
• Create documents on administration, installation, configuration and troubleshooting
• Apply diagnostic tools to perform technical analysis of complex software, hardware and infrastructure equipment
• Support the development of report on infrastructure capabilities and limitations
• Perform activities related to ongoing maintenance of network infrastructure
• Assist with the implementation of agreed infrastructure changes and maintenance routines
• Develop report on performance and availability of infrastructure systems by review of service uptime, utilisation, throughput etc.
• Perform ongoing tuning and optimisation of network infrastructure hardware and software components such as updates and upgrades
• Participate in infrastructure development activities
• Assist with infrastructure testing and implementation
• Gather performance and data usage statistics for capacity planning and reporting
• Assist with piloting of new tools, technologies, and/or processes
• Support problem/issue identification and resolution
• Escalate problems/issues
• Support simulation of user problems to resolve operating difficulties
• Diagnose problem source through discussions with users
• Recommend system modifications to reduce user problems
• Support planned maintenance events, system backup processes and disaster recovery drills
• Support implementation of preventive solutions
• Manage vendors & external parties to ensure deliveries & SLA

Requirements

• Bachelor in Computer Engineering or equivalent with 3 years experience in Network Adminstration, IT network infrastructure, monitor network performance and incident management
• Minimum CCNA, CCNP preferred.
• ITIL v3 / 4 certified
• Strong Stakeholder and Vendor management
• Experience supporting tech refresh or new facilities implementation will be added advantage
• Strong understanding of Network Technologies both in Wired and Wireless
• Experience in Network Products like Cisco Switches, NAC, WLC and F5
• Able to support 24/7 standby

Shortlisted candidates will be offered a 1 Year agency contract employment.
