Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Senior/System Engineer to support deployment, integration and IT infrastructure activities.

You will collaborate with project teams to deliver system and infrastructure projects and ensure smooth operations across environments. The role requires a degree in IT, at least five years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of databases, Windows OS and servers, as well as troubleshooting, documentation and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant system engineering or IT experience.
• Experience in system deployment, integration or IT infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of databases, networking, Windows OS and servers.
• Experience with data migration, backup and recovery is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering system and infrastructure projects with project teams.
• Set up, configure and troubleshoot systems and databases.
• Support Windows operating systems and server environments.
• Perform basic network configuration and troubleshoot network issues.
• Support system testing, data migration and deployment activities.
• Document technical activities and project progress.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors and internal teams.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior/System Engineer to support system deployment, integration and IT infrastructure activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with project teams to support the delivery of system and infrastructure projects.
• Perform system and database setup, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Support Microsoft Windows operating systems and server environments.
• Perform basic network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Support system integration, testing and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project implementation and operations.
• Support data migration, integration, backup and recovery activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical and project documentation.
• Work with customers, subcontractors and internal teams to coordinate project activities.
• Support system design and implementation when required.

Key Requirements

• Degree in IT or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant system engineering or IT experience.
• Experience in system deployment, integration or IT infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of databases, networking, Windows OS and servers.
• Experience with database setup, monitoring, backup and recovery.
• Knowledge of data migration and data integration will be an advantage.
• Experience with system testing such as UAT, FAT or SAT is preferred.
• Knowledge of security, access control or CCTV systems will be an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willingness to learn and work with new technologies.
