Job summary

QUESS SELECTION & SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Analyst to gather and document business requirements, create user stories, and analyze as-is and to-be processes, including impact assessments and effort estimates.

You will support automation of reporting, release planning, and service delivery, coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, and help maintain process documentation, dashboards, and status reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in Business Analysis, IT System Analysis, Project Coordination, or a related technology role.
• Knowledge of IT project lifecycle, requirements gathering, process analysis, and software testing.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements and user stories from business users and process owners.
• Analyze and document as-is and to-be processes, including impact assessments and effort estimates.
• Support automation of management reporting, problem management, release planning, service delivery, and project management processes.
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities and support implementation.
• Monitor requirements, scope, issues, and dependencies, escalating concerns to Project Managers or Team Leads.
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation and knowledge bases.
• Track project timelines, key deliverables, milestones, and deadlines across multiple workstreams.
• Assist Project Managers and Team Leads with project tracking, budget monitoring, and deliverable management.
• Prepare daily and periodic project status reports for internal and outsourced projects.
• Support development and maintenance of management dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely completion of project activities.
• Support testing activities and review test findings with testing teams.
• Analyse and classify reported issues as valid defects, data issues, or change requests.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to clarify requirements and support timely resolution of defects.
• Work with Business Users, Process Owners, Project Governance, Process Assurance, Resource Management, Compliance, Risk, and technical teams.
• Facilitate communication between business and technology teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, issues, and outstanding actions.

Requirements

• Experience working with technical delivery teams and/or within the banking or financial services environment is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
