Job summary

ITCAN PTE. LIMITED seeks a Senior Business Analyst to join the Division for a multi-year project. You will work with Group & Local Finance teams, European Head Office, and IT to map requirements, perform impact analyses and produce detailed functional specifications.

You will guide UAT and ensure smooth migration to new systems across Asia and Europe. Ideal candidates have extensive banking IT project experience, familiarity with Basel IV/IFRS9 concepts, and strong stakeholder management across

Qualifications

• Finance, Credit Risk and regulatory projects experience.
• Strong knowledge in Credit Risk Reporting, Local Regulatory Reporting.
• Strong Business Analysis experience; e.g. Impact Analysis, Gap analysis.
• Well documented functional specs with clear and detailed view.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Drive and track all deliverables to closure.

Job description

We are looking for a suitable Senior Business Analyst to join the Division for a multi-year project.

The role is required to work closely with

• Group & Local Finance team on the requirements finalization with new banking system, Credit system and mapping.
• Finance Head Office team in Europe who is the Product Owner & Local Regulatory teams of each site.
• System SME to perform studies to identify gaps and prepare project requirement for System transformation.
• Document Functional Specification and obtain business validation.
• Users from Asia and Europe on requirements and UAT validation.
• Technical team during the development & testing phases

Important experience required

• Experience delivering Finance, Credit Risk and regulatory projects with multiple sub-streams and source systems.
• Strong knowledge in Credit Risk Reporting, Local Regulatory Reporting, Accounting movement, accountingscheme (GL) setup and Liquidity management (in order of priority).
• Strong Business Analysis experience, e.g. Impact Analysis, Gap analysis, etc
• Well documented functional spec with clear and detail's functional view
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with multiple teams and other stakeholders to maintain harmony
• Drive, organize all deliverables, monitor and track the progress to closure

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

• Organize workshops with respective stakeholders and assess business needs.
• Perform study with the Group & Local Finance teams and vendor/consulting team (if required) to align on the requirements, data mappings and functionalities/scope.
• Drive and plan the application impact analysis after Business workshop.
• Ensure the functional mappings/data comply with local and Group expectations.
• Documenting detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
• Translate the requirements into non-functional specifications for technology teams to develop.
• Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensuring a smooth transition to new systems.
• Identify any bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with technology teams to ensure seamless integration and development of the application or data interface flows.
• Build and maintain the Backlog of requirements, transformations and adaptations.
• Work with various Stakeholders, to implement the deliverables and to resolve challenges and issues.
• Involvement in full development lifecycle, from Elaboration->Build->Transition->Production.
• Adhere to WMIS Governance and guiding principles.
• Business requirements consolidation and formal validation from sponsor/product owner.
• Prepare migration and testing strategy consolidation and formal validation
• Coordinate with all teams, from same division or other divisions, working on the same program
• Work with the development team, Business analyst, Solution architects, Application SMEs to design the functional solutions.

Functional & Behavioral Competencies

• Should have worked as a Business analyst at least for 10 years.
• Hands-on experience in the following areas in IT system implementations:
  • Credit-risk (Limits,Collateral Management, Counter party Risk)
  • Regulatory Reporting(Knowledge on Basel IV, Site specific local regulatory requirements)
  • Core banking(Knowledge on Loan/Deposit lifecycle)
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role in the Banking Wealth Management industry.
• Experience working throughout the entire IT project life cycle; including analyzing and documenting requirements, workshops, testing and stakeholder management throughout.
• Good knowledge and working capability of product life cycle like loans, deposits, forex,derivatives, limits, Guarantees, securities etc.
• Should have knowledge on Credit life cycle and IFRS9 reporting system implementation lifecycle.
• Should have good knowledge and understanding of the information flow and various business functions in a financial service/bank.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Able to conduct the workshops with business teams and challenge the requirements
• Collaborate with teams and work with groups effectively spread across various regions
• Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude.
• Responsible and good organization of work in each project phase.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
