Job summary

SILVERLINK TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced database administrator to provide expert support and administration for Sybase ASE and PostgreSQL databases.

You will ensure high availability, performance tuning, and issue resolution across production environments while collaborating with multiple teams to drive service improvements. You will lead incident resolution, manage capacity planning, and participate in transformation projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in production server environments.
• Unix and Linux operating systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute technical tasks and support daily BAU activities, incidents, and RFCs within your expertise.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues collaboratively with your team.
• Propose and implement service improvements for database environments across the organization.
• Maintain database system infrastructure availability and reliability with SLA alignment.
• Lead resolution efforts during high severity incidents within your scope.
• Review technology changes to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Collaborate with peers and project teams on roadmaps and transformations.
• Ensure production readiness of database systems.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible and shell scripting.
