Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Messaging Systems Administrator to manage day-to-day operations of on-premises and M365 messaging environments, including Exchange, Teams, and related services.

You will provide escalated support, document resolutions, and monitor health alerts to ensure system availability. The role requires hands-on Exchange experience and familiarity with Active Directory and related Microsoft technologies; after-hours support may be needed for patches and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange.
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Lync Server, Microsoft Team Foundation Server will be an advantage.
• After hour support may be needed for patching and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day on-premises and M365 messaging systems (Exchange, Teams, Lync, Skype, SharePoint) operations and maintenance.
• Provide technical support for escalations and document resolutions.
• Troubleshoot and support via phone, web, and email.
• Track progress of related requests until completion.
• Perform basic system administration and standard service requests related to messaging systems.
• Respond to health monitoring alerts from monitoring systems.
• Perform daily operational procedures and routine checks of system availability.
• Support system patching and server reboots per work instructions.
• Post preventive maintenance (OS patching and application) health checks as per work instruction.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day on-premises or/and M365 messaging systems (i.e. MS Exchange, Teams, Lync, Skype, SharePoint, etc) technical support, operations, monitoring, administration, and maintenance in accordance with the project service scope and service level. Where relevant, perform messaging systems service request, such as configurations changes
• Provide technical support to escalations / cases relating to Messaging Systems, and document the escalation and resolution
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support via phone, web-based tools, and email
• Tracking and monitoring the progress of all related requests till completion
• Perform basic system administration and process standard service request relating to Messaging system
• Responding to service/server Health monitoring alert from monitoring systems
• Perform daily operational procedures on systems including routine check of system availability as well as utilization
• Provide support for System patching, and server reboot based on Work instructions
• Post Preventive maintenance (OS patching/application) system health check base on work instruction

Requirements:
