Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Senior Messaging Engineer to provide L3 support for messaging and unified communications, including Exchange 2019+ and related security and scripting tasks.

You will collaborate with global teams, manage escalations, and drive automation while ensuring SLA, security, and compliance. Strong communication skills and 10–12 years of IT experience are required.

Qualifications

About the job Senior Messaging Engineer (Exchange / Microsoft 365)

Responsibilities:

• Provide L3 support for messaging and unified communication platforms
• Manage incident, problem, and request management, including escalations and high severity issues
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
• Support and deliver infrastructure projects (upgrades, migrations, new builds, end-of-life activities)
• Ensure systems meet SLA, security, and compliance standards
• Drive service improvements, automation, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders across regions
• Act as technical escalation point and provide guidance to support teams
• Manage vendor and service provider relationships
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and SOPs
• Participate in DR tests, infrastructure events, and global initiatives

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 10 to 12 years of IT experience in messaging / unified communications
• Experience in financial services environment preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in L3 support environment
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Technical Skills (Must Have)

• Microsoft Exchange 2019 (or above) – large-scale environments (10,000+ users)
• Email security / gateway solutions (e.g. IronPort, SMTP gateways)
• Scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch)
