Job summary

Stigious Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and coordinate purchasing with Production, Quality and Engineers. You will manage requisitions, track orders, monitor stock, and ensure on-time delivery while optimizing costs.

The role requires a degree in Supply Chain Management with at least 3 years in a similar industry, knowledge of import/export procedures and Incoterms, and relevant qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain/Sourcing.
• Familiar with import/export procedures and Incoterms.
• CIPS or similar procurement qualification preferred.
• ERP and MRP systems experience required.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers for quality, cost-effectiveness and reliability.
• Request and analyse quotes from suppliers.
• Coordinate purchasing with Production, Quality and Engineers.
• Prepare and process requisitions and orders; track fulfillment.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and delivery schedules.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and input accurate data in procurement systems.
• Monitor stock levels and replenish according to MRP.
• Plan inbound/outbound shipments; liaise with freight forwarders.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate Suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability
• Request and analyse for quotes from Suppliers
• Coordinate purchasing activities with Suppliers, Production, Quality and Engineers
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and track order fulfillment
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with Suppliers
• Maintain strong working relationships with Suppliers
• Responsible for negotiating with Suppliers to ensure Company is always in an advantageous position
• Responsible for input, accuracy and completeness of database information in Procurement and Supply Chain module (e.g. lead time, inventory turnover, price, etc.)
• Monitor stock levels and management replenishment according to MRP to avoid shortages or overstocking
• Coordinate with Productions, Sales and Store to align material availability with demand
• Monitor the costs and schedules to ensure highest quality at best value
• Interact closely with Suppliers and Engineer/QA to resolve quality issues
• Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery
• Liaise with freight forwarders for import/export matters
• Optimise transportation and warehouse operations for cost efficiency

Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management and at least 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain
• in similar industry
• Familiar with import/export procedures and Incoterms
• Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or similar qualification
• ERP and MRP knowledge is required
