Job summary

STIGIOUS PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable SCM professional in Singapore to source and evaluate suppliers, manage procurement processes, and coordinate with production, quality, and engineering teams.

You will negotiate terms, monitor inventory and lead times, and ensure on-time deliveries while optimizing costs with ERP/MRP systems. The role requires a degree in Supply Chain Management and at least 3 years in a similar industry, with familiarity in import/export procedures and Incoterms.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• At least 3 years in Supply Chain roles
• Familiar with import/export procedures and Incoterms
• CIPS or similar qualification preferred
• ERP and MRP knowledge required

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate Suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability
• Request and analyse quotes from Suppliers
• Coordinate purchasing with Suppliers, Production, Quality and Engineers
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and track fulfillment
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with Suppliers
• Maintain strong relationships with Suppliers
• Input accuracy of procurement data (lead time, price, inventory turnover)
• Monitor stock levels and replenishment per MRP to avoid shortages/overstocking
• Coordinate with Production, Sales and Store for material availability
• Plan inbound/outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery
• Liaise with freight forwarders for import/export matters
• Optimize transportation and warehouse operations for cost efficiency

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate Suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability
• Request and analyse for quotes from Suppliers
• Coordinate purchasing activities with Suppliers, Production, Quality and Engineers
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and track order fulfillment
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with Suppliers
• Maintain strong working relationships with Suppliers
• Responsible for negotiating with Suppliers to ensure Company is always in an advantageous position
• Responsible for input, accuracy and completeness of database information in Procurement and Supply Chain module (e.g. lead time, inventory turnover, price, etc.)
• Monitor stock levels and management replenishment according to MRP to avoid shortages or overstocking
• Coordinate with Productions, Sales and Store to align material availability with demand
• Monitor the costs and schedules to ensure highest quality at best value
• Interact closely with Suppliers and Engineer/QA to resolve quality issues
• Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery
• Liaise with freight forwarders for import/export matters
• Optimise transportation and warehouse operations for cost efficiency

Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management and at least 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain
• in similar industry
• Familiar with import/export procedures and Incoterms
• Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or similar qualification
• ERP and MRP knowledge is required
