Job summary

KLA-TENCOR (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is hiring for a packing, shipping, and inventory role.

You will read drawings and instructions to crate tools and components to quality standards, manage parts inventory, and handle shipment paperwork with precision. You will support planners and production teams to ensure on-time order fulfillment, coordinate with third-party warehouses, and assist with issuing, staging, and labeling shipments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read, learn, understand, and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to crate tools/products per guidelines.
• Manage inventory including labeling, locating parts, picking, and recording levels.
• Resolve shipment issues with customers and maintain paperwork and databases.
• Coordinate with planning, production, traffic, and warehouse partners to fulfill orders on time.
• Package materials and prepare shipments, tracking inventory and ensuring correct deliveries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to locate missing packages, fix mis-deliveries, and replace damaged goods.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and perform equipment maintenance per plans.
• Support weekend/public holiday operations and other duties as required.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Read, learn, understand, and interpret drawing/blueprints and work instructions, and other instructions written or verbal, to complete the crating of tools/products or components according to established guidelines and quality standards.
• Manage inventory following established guidelines and procedures including labeling and locating parts, picking parts from appropriate locations specified, and recording and communicating inventory levels.
• Help customers resolve shipment issues and complaints when they arise. Maintain shipment paperwork, records, and digital databases and perform additional administrative, clerical, or supervisory duties as requested.
• Support internal and other relevant departments (e.g. Planners and productions) to ensure all orders/shipments are fulfilled on time. The need to coordinate with CM to perform GR, coordinate with traffic and third-party warehouse to re-label shipment, and release to forwarders for shipment arrangement.
• Fulfill orders by packaging necessary materials and preparing them for shipment. Identifying and locating the right products during the shipping process Recording inventory status, and making sure deliveries properly match work orders.
• Collaborating with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries, and replace damaged products. Practice problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team responsible for realizing continuous improvement to products and processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, and workplace safety, and maintain all equipment according to maintenance plans and established procedures.
• Require supporting operations during weekends and public holidays. Undertake any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or its equivalent
• PC literate. Preferably with experience in crating/capital equipment handling.
• A team player with the ability to multi-task and organize work systematically.

• Hardworking, self-driven, willing to learn, and able to take initiative.
• Knowledge of SAP and having a forklift license will be an added advantage.
