The role requires strong leadership and coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams, with hands-on involvement in installation, testing, handover, and documentation. The ideal candidate will read drawings, manage resources, and uphold high safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Overview

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Supervisor to join our semiconductor projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will oversee daily site operations, coordinate construction activities, supervise subcontractors, and ensure works are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project requirements.

The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage site activities efficiently and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Work Location

Tampines (VSMC Project Site), Singapore

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations and monitor construction progress.

• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers to ensure smooth project execution.

• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

• Monitor manpower allocation, site productivity, material deliveries, and work progress.

• Conduct routine site inspections and ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and company procedures.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams to resolve site issues and technical matters.

• Assist with installation, testing, commissioning, defect rectification, and project handover activities.

• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and project documentation.

• Identify site issues promptly and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely project completion.

• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma, Higher NITEC, NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.

• Experience in site supervision, construction management, engineering coordination, or project execution is preferred.

• Able to read and understand construction drawings, shop drawings, and engineering documentation.

• Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.

• Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.

• Willing to work on-site and support project schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, M&E, facility, or industrial construction projects.

• Experience supervising subcontractors and coordinating multiple site activities.

• Familiar with site installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover.

• Knowledge of PTW (Permit to Work), Risk Assessment (RA), Method Statements (MS), and workplace safety requirements.

• Possession of relevant safety or construction-related certifications will be an added advantage.
