Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or related discipline.

• Good knowledge of workplace safety and health requirements in construction environments.
• Able to supervise and coordinate workers and subcontractors effectively.
• Able to plan daily site activities and monitor progress.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at project sites.
• Plan and allocate manpower, materials, equipment and resources according to the work schedule.
• Supervise workers and subcontractors to ensure works meet drawings and specs.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed as per project schedule.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship and quality of completed works.
• Identify site issues and coordinate corrective actions to minimise delays.
• Ensure materials and equipment are available when needed.
• Monitor material usage and minimise wastage.
• Ensure workers comply with safety requirements and site procedures.
• Prepare site progress updates and maintain site records.
• Coordinate inspections and rectification works where required.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at the site.
• Report progress, manpower deployment, site issues to the Project Manager.
• Perform other construction-related supervisory duties as assigned.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily construction activities at our project sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site operations, coordinating workers and subcontractors, monitoring work progress, and ensuring that construction works are carried out safely, efficiently and according to project requirements, drawings and specifications.
