Job summary

SELVA GANAPATHY VALUE MART PTE. LTD. seeks a capable Supervisor to oversee daily store operations in Singapore. You will supervise staff, ensure smooth workflow, deliver excellent customer service, manage stock, and assist in opening/closing procedures.

You will prepare basic reports on sales, stock, and staff performance while maintaining store standards, hygiene, and compliance with safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the mini mart, including sales, cashiering, and stock handling
• Lead and manage staff, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance monitoring
• Ensure high standards of customer service and handle customer inquiries or complaints
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with the inventory team
• Ensure proper display, pricing, and labeling of products
• Oversee cashier operations and ensure accuracy in billing and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the store
• Assist in receiving deliveries and verifying stock accuracy
• Conduct routine checks on expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO)
• Support store opening and closing procedures
