Job summary

Moss Cross Tokyo Pte Ltd is seeking a reliable, hardworking Part-Time Breakfast Chef / Breakfast Cook to join our kitchen team in Singapore. This role focuses on daily breakfast operations, including food preparation, buffet setup, cooking, replenishment and closing duties.

You will follow recipes and SOPs, perform morning mise en place, coordinate with the service team, monitor quality, maintain FIFO and hygiene, and work 7:00am to 12:00pm, six days a week.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred
• Breakfast, hotel or buffet experience is an advantage
• Hardworking, responsible and reliable
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Willing and eager to learn
• Able to work independently after training
• Able to multitask during busy breakfast periods
• Good personal hygiene and cleanliness
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Able to work 7:00am - 12:00pm, 6 days per week

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food for daily breakfast service
• Carry out morning mise en place and food preparation
• Set up the breakfast buffet before service
• Prepare breakfast items according to recipes and kitchen SOPs
• Handle egg orders and other breakfast items when required
• Replenish hot food and buffet items during breakfast service
• Monitor food quality, freshness, portioning and presentation
• Coordinate with the service team during breakfast operation
• Maintain proper food storage, labelling and FIFO procedures
• Keep kitchen stations, equipment and work areas clean and organised
