Job summary

Seatrium (SG) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Subcontracting & QA coordinator to ensure compliance with QA procedures and to lead improvement initiatives across subcontracting activities.

You will liaise with internal departments and external sub-contractors to manage registrations, tenders, and workload distribution. The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Engineering with at least 1 year of subcontracting experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office, SAP and iSRP.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of subcontracting experience with basic Production/Engineering knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP and iSRP system.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of contract law, local regulatory requirements and subcontracting business and systems.
• Updated knowledge of corporate compliance, labour policies and employment laws.
• Updated knowledge of market rates of labour and specific services for the organization’s construction activities.
• Basic knowledge of offshore and marine construction capabilities and production facilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all QA Procedures and SOPs are observed.
• Liaises with internal stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Leads and devises improvement initiatives for processes, policies and procedures.
• Maintains a list of reliable subcontractors for the organisation.
• Screening and registration of new subcontractors; revalidation of existing ones.
• Posts project evaluation of subcontractors; helps with tenders and negotiations.
• Coordinate subcontracting work for projects; assist PM on claims assessment and cost reports.
• Reviews subcontractors’ applications/ renewals for foreign workers’ permits.
• Assesses dependency ratios and project values; tracks recruitment progress.
• Conducts interviews; communicates findings; reviews dormitories’ inspections as needed.
• Prepares reports for management reviews; contributes to final evaluation.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned by superior.
