Job summary

PRIMESTAFF MANAGEMENT SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking a part-time Counselling/School Support role in Singapore to facilitate small-group interventions and support Tier 1–2 programs. The role focuses on socio-emotional development, case management and restorative processes, collaborating with school staff to ensure holistic student support.

Responsibilities include home visits where appropriate, documentation, and liaison with external agencies to strengthen home-school partnerships.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification/certification in Counselling, Social Work or related discipline.
• Preferably 2 years of experience in social services, school or community setting.
• Experience in socio-emotional intervention, case management, restorative practices and/or group facilitation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with youths.
• Good case documentation and report-writing skills.
• Empathetic, mature and professional, with confidentiality and appropriate boundaries.
• Able to collaborate with teachers and student development staff.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate small-group intervention sessions for students with socio-emotional needs, developing healthy peer relationships.
• Propose workplan and session plans based on assessments, coordinating with Teacher-In-Charge.
• Monitor progress and provide updates and evaluation reports to the school.
