Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore is seeking a Student Management professional to deliver intervention sessions for students and to maintain confidential records of progress.

The role involves developing tailored strategies, collaborating with teachers, and supporting students with academic and career guidance. A diploma in social work and at least 1 year of relevant experience are preferred. The position requires a 40-hour week with after-hours availability.

Qualifications

• Diploma in social work or equivalent required.
• 1 year of relevant student management experience.
• Experience handling confidential records and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group intervention and investigative sessions for students.
• Develop and implement tailored intervention strategies for students with disciplinary issues.
• Maintain confidential records of sessions and student progress; include statements.
• Design and conduct sessions on social-emotional skills and self-regulation.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate social-emotional learning into the curriculum.
• Implement early intervention programmes to address potential issues.
• Participate in regular meetings with Student Development and Discipline teams; liaise with external professionals when needed.
• Provide crisis intervention and guidance on academic and career-related concerns.
• Assist in transition processes for students in need.
• Conduct regular evaluations of programmes and gather feedback to improve processes.
• Prepare and submit reports on disciplinary activities and student outcomes.
