Job summary

Dynamic Safety Pte Ltd seeks an enthusiastic counsellor to provide counselling, mentoring and emotional support to students requiring intervention. The role involves identifying social, emotional, and behavioural challenges and developing targeted interventions, while equipping students with coping strategies and resilience skills.

You will plan and conduct individual and group engagement programmes, conduct home visits when needed, monitor progress, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Counselling, Psychology or equivalent.
• Experience in counselling or working with secondary school students.
• Strong skills in student engagement communication, relationship-building, emotional regulation and conflict management.

Responsibilities

• Provide counselling, mentoring and emotional support to students requiring intervention.
• Identify students’ social, emotional and behavioural challenges and develop appropriate interventions.
• Equip students with coping strategies and resilience skills.
• Plan and conduct individual/group engagement programmes and after-school activities.
• Conduct home visits, stakeholder meetings and referrals when required.
• Monitor student progress and liaise with school personnel.
• Maintain counselling records and submit weekly case summaries.
• Share counselling tips with teachers and stakeholders
