GAIN EMPLOYMENT SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a school counsellor to support students with emotional and social development. You will engage students, build rapport, and identify underlying issues affecting their school participation.

Key responsibilities include counselling, mentoring, and coordinating engagement programmes with stakeholders, along with documentation and referrals when required. The role emphasizes safeguarding student wellbeing in a school setting.

Formación

• Diploma in counselling or psychology or equivalent.
• Experience counselling or working with school-aged teenagers in a secondary school.
• Strong skills in relationship building and emotional regulation.

Responsabilidades

• Meet up with students to engage and build rapport.
• Identify underlying issues such as social or emotional disadvantages to plan intervention.
• Address concerns like stress and mental health; provide coping strategies.
• Act as mentors to provide guidance, motivation and emotional support.
• Customize engagement programmes for individuals and groups with stakeholders.
• Conduct home visits with school staff and make referrals where appropriate.
• Document counselling activities and weekly case summaries for each student.
• Share counselling tips with teachers and stakeholders at termly platforms.
