Job summary

Woodlands Primary School seeks a Guidance Officer to support the holistic development and well-being of at-risk students. The role collaborates with the Student Development Team to reinforce positive behaviour and student engagement.

The position involves supervising students in detention, conducting restorative conversations, and delivering SEL modules within a school setting. Registration with MOE is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of direct experience with children/youths at-risk.
• Experience supporting students with behavioural, emotional, or learning needs via targeted interventions, mentoring or developmental programmes.
• MOE registration required as of ITQ closing date.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage students on in-house suspension or detention; apply restorative practices.
• Assist in investigations; gather statements and compile incident reports.
• Engage and mentor students; deliver SEL support and reinforce positive behaviour.
• Perform data entry for late-coming, offences and intervention activities; maintain case notes and statistics.
