Job summary

APBA TG Human Resource Pte Ltd is seeking a responsible Part-Time Student Management Officer to support supervision, engagement and pastoral care in a primary school setting. You will work 20.25 hours per week over three days, with specific morning hours and short unpaid breaks, and assist with behaviour management and student welfare.

Ideal candidates are patient, calm, reliable, and able to relate well to children; prior school or youth-related experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working with primary school-aged children.
• Patient, calm, and able to be firm when managing students.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Prior experience with children, youths, or in a school/educational environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support student engagement, pastoral care, and day-to-day student management.
• Assist with fact-finding and investigation, restorative work, and counselling-related support.
• Work with students with behavioural concerns and/or provide academic supervision where required.
• Support the Year Head and Counsellor in student support matters and programme execution.
• Support student management activities and related administrative documentation.
• Attend to student-related incidents and escalate to school personnel when necessary.
