Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated counsellor/mentoring support staff for a 10-month contract at a primary school in Singapore. You will provide one-to-one guidance, conduct engagement sessions, and lead simple activities to promote well-being and resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience in counselling, pastoral care, youth work or working with families of primary school children and youths.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience planning mentoring or student engagement activities for primary school children is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one mentoring and guidance to students requiring extra support.
• Conduct student engagement sessions to build resilience and confidence.
• Lead simple age-appropriate physical activities for wellbeing.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop Lifeskills resources and materials.
• Accompany and supervise students during after-school learning journeys.
• Monitor and support homework completion during designated sessions.
• Conduct home visits with the School's Student Welfare Officer when required.
• Perform other student support duties as assigned.
