Job summary

The Institute of Technical Education is seeking a Student Guidance Officer (SGO) for the Student Services Department at ITE College West. In this role, you will maintain student discipline and provide administrative support while ensuring a safe campus environment.

We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of relevant experience, strong organisational and communication skills, and ideally, prior exposure to enforcement agencies. Your responsibilities will include managing student disciplinary cases and engaging with stakeholders for crime prevention.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Prior experience in enforcement agencies is advantageous.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain student discipline and provide administrative support.
• Support campus safety and environment through patrols.
• Conduct disciplinary talks and promote responsible behaviour.
• Manage disciplinary and appeal cases according to policies.
• Provide support to students with behavioural issues.
• Engage stakeholders on crime prevention efforts.
• Support student development initiatives as required.
