Job summary

V-SWIFT PTE. LTD. seeks a qualified school counsellor to support MOE students across secondary or junior college settings. You will deliver confidential counselling services, document sessions, and maintain ethical practice.

You will collaborate with school leadership, attend monthly updates to HOD Student Development, manage referrals, and participate in case management teams while upholding safeguarding and data protection standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in counselling or equivalent.
• Registered with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC).
• Ongoing supervision from a trained clinical supervisor.
• At least 1 year of counselling experience in MOE Secondary School and/or Junior College.

Responsibilities

• Conduct counselling sessions for students with appointments or drop-ins.
• Facilitate meetings with HOD Student Development and provide timely updates on counselees (monthly).
• Prepare progress updates on AT-RISK/HIGH RISK cases and report monthly to HOD Student Development.
• Participate in Case Management Team meetings and follow up on actions discussed.
• Monitor and manage the school's online counselling booking portal (basic training provided).
• Collaborate with stakeholders and assist in crisis management during the contract.
• Follow school's SOP for consultation, provide feedback, maintain counselling records, and hand over cases to ensure continuity.
• Respect confidentiality; counselling records are the property of the school and not to be removed without permission.
• Abide by the Ethical Standards for School Counsellors in Singapore.
