Job summary

WSH Experts Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Student Safeguarding Officer to support the discipline team in fair, thorough investigations into student misconduct, in line with MOE guidelines. You will gather information through structured interviews with involved students, victims and witnesses, document findings, and prepare concise reports for the discipline committee.

Responsibilities

Investigation of Student Misconduct: assist discipline team with fair, thorough investigations in line with MOE guidelines.
Gather information through structured interviews with students involved, including accused, victims, and witnesses.
Document investigation findings accurately and objectively; prepare clear reports for the discipline committee.
Review CCTV footage, statements, and other evidence as needed; ensure confidentiality and fairness.
Liaise with external agencies such as SP, MSF, or Child Protective Services when escalation is required.
Ensure trauma-informed, unbiased processes throughout investigations.
Rehabilitation & Student Support: conduct regular one-on-one check-ins with students under rehabilitation; engage parents and maintain records.
Preventive Work: conduct regular walkabouts to deter vaping, smoking and rule violations.
Administrative & Coordination Duties: maintain case documentation, rehabilitation plans, and progress records; coordinate with partners; attend relevant trainings.
