V-SWIFT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Student Care Officer to engage, mentor and support students with emotional, social, or wellbeing needs within the school setting. The role involves coordinating activities, tracking progress, and collaborating with parents and teachers.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of relevant experience in youth engagement, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold safeguarding protocols.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Engage,befriend and mentor students with emotional, social or well-being issues.
• Monitor and track progress toward the school’s desired outcomes.
• Plan and supervise engagement activities at the engagement centre.
• Coordinate parent engagement on child’s progress and well-being with teachers and management.
• Identify suitable community partners and enroll students in programmes.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student interactions and incidents.
• Follow safeguarding and data protection protocols and escalate concerns as needed.
• Perform any other student-related duties or school operations as assigned.

Student Care Officer

Job Scope:

• Student Engagement, Befriending & Mentoring: Engage,befriend and mentor students with emotional, social or well-being issues.Monitor and track progress of identified students towards the school’s desiredoutcomes.
• Activity Planning & Supervision at Engagement Centre: Planand supervise activities to engage students at the engagement centre andorganise school-wide activities, e.g. interest-based competitions.
• After School Engagement Activity Planning &Implementation: Co-plan after school engagement activities for identifiedstudents and run, facilitate and supervise the sessions.
• Parent Engagement: Liaise and communicate with parents orguardians of identified students on their child's progress, well-being andparticipation in support programmes, in collaboration with teachers and schoolmanagement
• Community Partnerships: Identify suitable communitypartners and enroll students in these community programmes.
• Record-Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate andtimely records of student interactions, progress and incidents in accordancewith school protocols.
• Safeguarding and Emergency Protocols: Follow the school's safeguardingand emergency protocols and elevate concerns regarding student safety orwell-being to the appropriate school personnel in a timely manner.
• Confidentiality and Data Protection: Handle all student and familyinformation with strict confidentiality and in compliance with relevant dataprotection obligations, including the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) andthe school's data management policies. Personnel shall not disclose any studentor family information to unauthorised parties.
• Adhoc Duties: Perform any other student related duties or schooloperation duties as assigned by the school management.

Qualification:

(a) It ispreferred to have relevant qualifications or certifications in youth work orrelated fields.

(b) Must havea minimum of 1 year of working experience engaging or supporting youthsin a school, social service or community setting.

(c) Possessesgood communication and interpersonal skills with youths and adults.

(d) Possesseseffective strategies to engage, befriend and mentor students with emotional,social or well-being issues.

(e)Demonstrates emotional resilience and empathy, with the ability to build trustand rapport with vulnerable students while maintaining a caring andprofessional disposition.
