Job summary

The role requires hands-on engagement with students, strong English communication, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while documenting incidents and supporting Gear-Up activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in secondary school settings, focusing on student management, discipline, or pastoral care
• Proficient in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with students and staff
• Ability to engage students and monitor their well-being actively
• Demonstrate maturity, firmness, and composure when handling student behavior and discipline
• Possess strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and sound judgment to support student needs
• Exhibit good note-taking and documentation skills while maintaining calm under pressure

Responsibilities

• Monitor student attendance and late arrivals to identify and support at-risk students
• Conduct patrols within the school and nearby areas to ensure student safety
• Support student intervention programs, including conducting home visits with school staff
• Assist in managing student discipline and implement smoking/vaping cessation initiatives
• Maintain accurate student records and document incidents to support administrative needs
• Provide administrative support for Gear-Up activities, ensuring smooth program execution
