Job summary

NTU Singapore's College of Computing and Data Science invites applications for the Assistant Manager / Senior Executive, Student Affairs. You will support academic and welfare programmes for the CCDS student body and work with central offices to foster a positive learning environment.

The role encompasses SEN support, student competitions and conferences, disciplinary processes, and continuous improvement of SOPs to enhance the student experience and uphold the college's standards, while

Qualifications

• Degree in Youth Work, Counselling or related fields.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an educational institution.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with staff and students.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion on student records.

Responsibilities

• Execute and facilitate the running of academic support programmes for the student body.
• Review effectiveness of teaching support programmes.
• Provide reports and generate statistics at the end of each semester.
• Manage teaching support through the Academic Mentoring Scheme.
• Coordinate SEN support and provide pastoral care for SEN students.
• Support student competitions and conferences and manage related budgets.
• Coordinate Preliminary Inquiries (PI) and assist with committees of inquiry.
• Review SOPs and continuously improve student-related processes.
