Job summary

T.Y.Lin International Pte Ltd is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer in Singapore to prepare detailed design reports, calculations, drawings and submissions for statutory authorities. You will coordinate with multiple disciplines, assist in tender documentation, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex projects, including underground and MRT-related works.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; eligible for PE registration in Singapore.
• Conversant with local codes and authority submission procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Good knowledge of common engineering design software.
• Experience in engineering design consulting for buildings, geotechnical, infrastructure, rail or road projects including underground/basement/elevated structures, tunnels and MRT stations.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Able to work under pressure with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed design reports, calculations and drawings.
• Prepare submissions to statutory agencies/authorities.
• Coordinate with other disciplines in preparing design deliveries.
• Prepare tender documentation.
