Job summary

T.Y.Lin International Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a senior structural/bridge engineer to lead the design delivery on major projects, including coordination with disciplines and submissions to authorities.

You will mentor juniors, manage design reports, calculations, drawings, tenders, and help deliver infrastructure and rail projects with a focus on code compliance and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and eligible for registration with the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore).
• Minimum of 5 years of design experience.
• Conversant with local codes and authority submission procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Good knowledge of common structural design software.
• Working experience in engineering design consulting practice on building, geotechnical, infrastructure, rail or road projects (underground/basement/elevated structures, tunnel structures and MRT station structures).
• Good project management skills and strong analytical skills.
• Able to work under pressure with good time management skill.

Responsibilities

• Lead in the preparation of detailed design reports, calculations and drawings.
• Prepare submissions to statutory agencies/ authorities.
• Lead in the coordination with other disciplines in preparation of design deliveries.
• Lead in preparing tender documentations.
• Participate in the tendering of projects.
• Participate in the successful delivery of projects.
• Training and mentoring juniors.
• Design management, coordination and project control on major projects.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
• Bridge: Experienced in the design and design management of major bridge projects for roads, rails, and others.
