Job summary

T.Y.Lin International Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to join its design team. The role involves leading engineering solutions, coordinating major projects, and providing design reviews while mentoring junior staff.

Candidates should have 8+ years in engineering design consulting, strong communication, and supervision skills; PE status is an advantage. Familiarity with geotechnical or infrastructure projects is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and eligible for registration with the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore).
• More than 8 years of working experience in engineering design consulting practice.
• Excellent interpersonal, good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and have good knowledge of design software.
• Good supervision and project management skills.
• Being a Professional Engineer is an advantage.
• Experienced in the design and design management of major geotechnical building works and/or infrastructure works will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good client relations.
• Work closely with other engineering divisions and external parties.
• Participate in the tendering of projects.
• Lead in providing engineering solutions and strategy to complex problems.
• Provide technical leadership and perform engineering design reviews.
• Training and mentoring juniors.
• Design management, coordination and project control on major projects.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
