Job summary

Singapore Management University seeks a seasoned HR leader to drive strategic workforce planning aligned with institutional priorities. You will partner with HR partners and department heads to design comprehensive workforce plans and governance reports that inform evidence-based decisions.

The role emphasizes analytics, policy development, and cross-functional coordination to ensure sustainable staffing and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant HR experience.
Familiarity with higher education and public sector HR policies and practices.
Strong analytical, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
Proficiency with HR analytics tools and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

Lead development and implementation of the university's workforce planning framework to support strategy and long-term sustainability.
Partner with HR Business Partners and department heads to assess needs and develop aligned workforce plans.
Facilitate consultations balancing stakeholder perspectives with institutional priorities and resources.
Drive organization-wide workforce reviews including headcount, structure, and deployment.
Develop workforce analytics, planning models, and governance reports to inform decision-making.
