Job summary

Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Compliance, Singapore, you will lead horizon scanning, risk-based governance, and concise reporting to senior management, while ensuring fair customer outcomes and alignment

Qualifications

• Significant experience in regulatory compliance within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore's regulatory environment and MAS expectations.
• Experience supporting senior management in regulatory engagements and responses.
• Excellent analytical, drafting, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance Singapore’s regulatory management framework, providing consistent governance across HSBC’s regulated entities and alignment with Group policies and standards.
• Oversee regulatory horizon scanning, assess developments from MAS and other authorities, and translate consultations into practical priorities.
• Strengthen the regulatory inventory and change management lifecycle, with clear ownership and escalation of gaps or delays.
• Maintain a consolidated view of regulatory interactions and advise Heads on implications and actions.
• Advise senior stakeholders on regulatory engagement strategy and prepare concise reports and board materials.
• Support conduct risk oversight through monitoring of themes and development of meaningful metrics.
• Partner with business, functional and Compliance colleagues regionally and globally to deliver regulatory initiatives.
