Job summary

HSBC Life Singapore is seeking a high-calibre professional to join as Vice-President, Regulatory Compliance Insurance. The role provides practical regulatory advice to the insurance business, ensures adherence to local regulations and internal policies, and helps the organisation anticipate regulatory changes.

You will monitor developments, embed compliance into product and service decisions, coordinate with Regulators, lead governance reporting to the PMO, and support major change initiatives

Qualifications

• Strong regulatory compliance experience in life insurance in Singapore.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across stakeholders.
• Ability to develop practical solutions and work independently.
• Experience interpreting complex data and summarising for management.
• Experience dealing with regulatory matters and interaction with Regulators.
• Experience supporting complex change initiatives and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory compliance advice to the insurance business.
• Ensure adherence to local regulations and internal policies.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise on changes.
• Embed compliance in business decision-making and product reviews.
• Identify and report compliance risks timely.
• Coordinate with regulators and manage regulatory engagements.
• Produce governance reporting and status updates to PMO.
• Support strategic projects with regulatory change impact assessments.
