Job summary

SMRT Buses Ltd, a subsidiary of SMRT Corporation, invites a capable IT/Engineering professional to join our Singapore operations. You will participate in daily operations and cross-team projects while supporting contract negotiations and vendor management to safeguard budget and schedule control.

You will develop and relay internal/external policies, prepare annual plans, and coordinate with government and authorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in IT Management, Engineering, or related field.
3–4 years’ working experience in relevant industry preferred.
Senior positions may consider candidates with prior team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Participate in daily operations and cross team project collaborations.
Assist Manager (SIS) in contract negotiations and vendor management, including CAPEX and OPEX budgeting and schedule control.
Comprehend, develop and relay internal and external policies to internal stakeholders.
Prepare annual business plans and ensure milestones and objectives are met.
Maintain cooperation with external stakeholders such as government and local authorities.
Ensure BCPs and interdepartmental WIs are up to date.
Prepare functional specifications for new systems and drive development to go-live.
Review existing systems and advise on technology refresh/renewal requirements.
Explore emerging technologies and assess integration possibilities.
Work with stakeholders to improve system capabilities and ensure SMRT IT compliance.
