Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Purchasing and Planning professional to execute supply plans, forecasts and supplier communications to ensure material availability for production.

You will monitor deliveries, coordinate with internal stakeholders, manage inventory levels, and uphold purchasing procedures while supporting continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong teamwork and precision in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing and planning experience involving electronic and mechanical assemblies.
• Prior experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of material planning, purchasing, inventory management and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities

• Execute supply plans, forecasts and exception reports to suppliers to ensure timely material availability for production.
• Monitor supplier delivery commitments and expedite deliveries to resolve material shortages.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure materials are supplied in the right quantity, quality and timeline.
• Manage quality notifications, change requests, supplier returns, goods receipts and invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, planning and supplier information within internal systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and support initiatives to minimise excess inventory and inventory holding costs.
• Ensure purchasing and supply planning activities comply with established procedures and requirements.
• Work closely with production, planning, quality and other stakeholders to resolve supply-related issues.
• Perform other supply chain and purchasing duties as assigned.
