Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a sourcing and material planning professional to ensure materials are available for production. The role blends purchasing, planning, supplier management and inventory control in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

You will execute MRP, coordinate with suppliers, monitor performance and expedite to prevent production stoppages. Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems, including SAP, is required, with at least 3 years in manufacturing supply chain.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Admin, or related field.
• 3+ years in purchasing, procurement, material planning or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Experience with MRP, supplier delivery management or production planning.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills; SAP or ERP experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute MRP requirements and review forecasts and reports to ensure timely material supply.
• Coordinate with suppliers to secure delivery commitments for production needs.
• Monitor supplier performance and follow up on outstanding deliveries.
• Expedite materials and resolve shortages to minimise production disruption.
• Manage purchasing and related issues including quality notifications and supplier returns.
• Coordinate goods receipt and invoice discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Maintain purchasing, supplier and material master data in the ERP system.
• Monitor inventory levels and support stock-optimisation initiatives.
• Collaborate with production, planning, quality, warehouse and suppliers on material issues.
• Ensure purchasing and supply activities comply with established processes.
• Review supply risks and take proactive actions to maintain production continuity.
• Support continuous improvement across purchasing, planning and supply assurance.
