Airwallex is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing to lead its global third-party spend strategy. You will shape category and vendor strategies, drive major negotiations, and optimize the vendor portfolio and cost base.

This role is highly analytical, requires anticipating needs, and balancing cost discipline with quality, risk, and long-term value. You will partner with the Head of Strategic Finance to influence decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement or related field.
• Strong track record leading complex, high-value negotiations with tangible outcomes.
• Deep experience in technology and software sourcing, with cloud/data focus desirable.
• Strong strategic, analytical and financial capabilities including evaluating pricing, usage, and TCO.
• Commercial judgment balancing cost, capability, speed, risk and long-term value.
• Ability to drive from strategy through execution, from roadmap to contracts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with senior partners.
• High ownership and ability to establish structure in a fast-moving environment.

Responsabilités

• Set category and vendor strategy across major third-party spend areas.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and vendor negotiations from market assessment to renewal.
• Develop rigorous negotiation strategies using benchmarks, usage data and TCO.
• Optimize pricing, terms, contracts, renewals and service levels.
• Build frameworks for sourcing, supplier management and renewals with governance.
• Quantify outcomes and inform budgeting and forward planning.
