Job summary

Hanwha Ocean EPU is seeking a Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing of equipment/services from RFQ to PO close-out. You will coordinate with Package Manager and Package Engineer, drive supplier interest, and ensure timely, compliant bids and commercial agreements.

You will negotiate contracts, support with Legal/Contract Management, and drive procurement activities across oil & gas projects while managing internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business; master’s is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of Oil & Gas industry knowledge.
• Skilled in sourcing, market/product/supplier analysis, negotiation, and contractual formulation.
• Strong time management skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Align with Package Manager and Package Engineer for scope specifics.
• Obtain supplier interest to bid and sign NDA ahead of RFQ.
• Compile documents associated with source scope prior to RFQ.
• Issue RFQ to project bidder list and qualify bidders prior to award.
• Expedite suppliers for timely, quality bids within due date.
• Verify bid completeness and coordinate bid evaluations.
• Organize bid clarification meetings (technical vs commercial).
• Negotiate contracts; engage Legal & Contract Manager as needed.
• Prepare Commercial Bid Evaluation and recommendations for Award.
• Formalize purchase requisition through procurement tool and obtain approvals.
• Issue PO acknowledgements, bank guarantees, and milestone documentation.
• Manage change order requests and timely PO close-out.
• Anticipate claims until PO close-out and monitor invoice approvals.
