The role requires hands-on experience with Singapore Payment Services Act, AML/CFT frameworks, and governance structures, plus strong collaboration with senior management and regulators to ensure licensing readiness.

Qualifications

• Significant senior compliance or regulatory experience within payments or fintech.
• Proven track record leading or contributing to a Singapore payment services licence application.
• Deep knowledge of the Payment Services Act and AML/CFT requirements; regulator engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end payment services licence application process, working with senior management, external advisers and the regulator.
• Review and enhance key application materials, including business plans, AML/CFT policies, risk management frameworks and governance arrangements to ensure regulatory readiness.
• Act as a senior regulatory representative for the business, managing key discussions, application queries and engagements with the regulator throughout the licensing process.
• Advise senior management on licensing strategy, regulatory expectations, governance requirements and operational readiness as the company establishes its Singapore presence.
