Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the department to drive strategic change and development.
• Provide strategies and direction for new product development and new technology research and development.
• Review and ensure company products and technologies are continuously improving to maintain competitive edge.
• Provide strategies and is accountable for meeting company business targets with Sales and Production departments
• Enhance company brand image and value through development of reliable, attractive, high-speed-high-accuracy products and technologies
• Plan and implement action plans for regional and global cooperation for new development
• Provide direction for compliance of employees to job process defined by policy Engineering to achieve and comply to quality and safety standards
• Identify gaps in technical core competency and implement action plans through continuous learning and new innovation for enhancement
• Plan and implement systems and process of knowledge bank for engineering information and infrastructure for a learning organization
• Mentor and guide Managers to develop strong leadership and problem-solving competencies
