YAMI SUPPLY CHAIN PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a skilled technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and precision repairs on molds, dies, and fixtures in our manufacturing facility.

The role involves operating lathes, milling machines, grinders, CNC and EDM equipment, reading CAD drawings with GD&T, and ensuring complete CMMS documentation while maintaining spare parts inventory for uninterrupted production.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience on molds, dies, and fixtures.
• Ability to diagnose dimensional or surface defects and tool wear.
• Skills in welding, grinding, polishing, and fitting for precision repairs.
• Operate lathes, milling, grinders, CNC, and EDM equipment to modify components.
• Read engineering drawings and GD&T standards from CAD models.
• Assemble tooling with proper fit and alignment.
• Measure with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and comparators to verify accuracy.
• Document maintenance and modifications in CMMS for traceability.
• Manage spare parts and inventory to prevent production downtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on molds, dies, and fixtures.
• Diagnose and repair defects affecting dimensions and surface quality.
• Use welding and fitting to restore tooling precision.
• Operate manufacturing machines and EDM equipment to produce components.
• Interpret drawings and GD&T to ensure correct fabrication.
• Assemble/disassemble tooling with precision alignment.
• Inspect parts using micrometers and calipers for dimensional checks.
• Record all maintenance activities in CMMS and manage spare parts inventory.
