Job summary

SWP CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. seeks a Quantity Surveyor to prepare, negotiate and analyse costs for tenders and contracts on private and government projects.

You will handle all contractual matters with clients and subcontractors, value completed work and prepare claims, and monitor budget adherence throughout projects. The role requires Mandarin communication for Mandarin-speaking clients and subcontractors, strong numeracy, and solid construction knowledge.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of related experience preferred.
• Methodical thinking and strong numeracy.
• Knowledge of building and construction work.
• Excellent problem solving and communication/negotiation skills.
• Strong financial management and numeracy.
• Mandarin communication ability for Mandarin-speaking clients/subcontractors.
• Senior Executive level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, negotiate and analyse costs for tenders and contracts for private and governments projects
• Handle all contractual matters in relation to cost and time with the clients and subcontractors
• Valuing completed work and prepare claim settlement and notification correspondences to clients
• Monitor projects including materials and subcontractor cost forecast are strictly adhered to the agreed budget
• Other quantity surveying related duties for building projects
