Job summary

Ms Projects Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare tender cost submissions, perform quantity take-offs, and evaluate costs for tender projects.

The role involves liaising with subcontractors, obtaining quotations, and ensuring accurate measurements to support progress claims and final accounts. The candidate should have 2–3 years of relevant construction experience, be able to work independently, and stay under tight deadlines while keeping up with market cost trends.

Qualifications

• Prepare tender cost submission, measurement, quantity take-off, and cost evaluation.
• Perform quantity take-off for tender projects based on set timelines.
• Liaise and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate price comparisons and costing summaries.
• Ensure accurate measurement of quantities to assist in progress payment claims and final accounts.
• Prepare variation orders, claims, final accounts, settlements, and sub-contractor payments.
• Be meticulous, analytical, and proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Work effectively as a team member and meet tight deadlines.
• Able to read M&E drawings and maintain project documentation.
• Perform all other QS-related duties as assigned by management.
