Job summary

SWP Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare, negotiate and analyse costs for tenders and contracts for private and government projects. You will handle all contractual matters related to cost and time with clients and subcontractors, and value completed work for claims and notifications.

You will monitor projects to ensure materials and subcontractor costs adhere to the budget, and perform other quantity surveying duties on building projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in the related field.
• Methodical way of thinking.
• Knowledge of building and construction work.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Good financial and numeracy management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
• Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin to handle Mandarin-speaking clients and subcontractors.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, negotiate and analyse costs for tenders and contracts for private and governments projects.
• Handle all contractual matters in relation to cost and time with the clients and subcontractors.
• Valuing completed work and prepare claim settlement and notification correspondences to clients.
• Monitor projects including materials and subcontractor cost forecast are strictly adhered to the agreed budget.
• Other quantity surveying related duties for building projects.
