Job summary

WOLFDUN CONTRACTORS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a proactive Quantity Surveyor to support tendering, cost planning and procurement throughout pre-construction, construction and post-construction stages.

You will perform quantity take-offs, prepare cost data, manage subcontractor procurement, handle claims and progress payments, and liaise with the project team on contractual and financial matters. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Building and at least 2 years

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Building from a recognized University.
Able to read/understand/execute work based on construction drawings.
Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Assist Tender manager with project tender and to assist Project manager to establish the quantity, unit rate, cost.
Manage the procurement, evaluation, claim, payment process and prepare the necessary data for cost reporting.
Quantity take-off and generation of Schedule of Quantity.
Request for quotation from vendor and preparation of subcontract agreement and/or purchase order.
Handle progress claims and progress payment, VO & finalization of accounts.
Work closely with the Project Team providing cost and financial advice as well as contractual support and advice.
As required, travel to and visit work site.
Assist in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers of specified materials and assist Project Manager in all contractual and costing matters.
