Job summary

Kanry Search is seeking a Purchasing Executive to manage requisitions, quotations and supplier orders from its Kallang location. You will plan material purchases, coordinate with Planning and Production, and monitor deliveries to ensure timely availability of materials.

The role requires strong negotiation, communication and multi-tasking in a manufacturing setting. Salary ranges SGD 2,600 to SGD 3,200 with AWS (13th Month), a variable bonus up to 2 months, phone allowance, medical and flexi

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing or material planning within manufacturing.
• Experience in EMS, electronics or semiconductor manufacturing is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
• Good communication, coordination and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions, obtain quotations and issue purchase orders.
• Plan material purchases based on demand, lead times and MOQ.
• Coordinate with Planning and Production to ensure material availability.
• Monitor supplier deliveries and follow up on open orders.
• Manage order adjustments, including pull-ins and cancellations as needed.
• Source alternate suppliers for urgent needs or shortages.
• Monitor inventory to minimise shortages and excess stock.
• Liaise with suppliers and QA to resolve quality issues and arrange returns.
• Coordinate shipment arrangements and related payments.
• Maintain purchasing records and update delivery schedules in SAP/ERP.
